SWRAS Photo Contest
A great chance to show off the great moments that you have captured in a photograph for everyone to enjoy.
Categories for the photo contest include:
- Cria - cria or crias caught at a special moment
- Humor - any photo taken of one or more alpacas in a comical/humorous situation
- Alpacas Interacting - shows action between 2 or more alpacas; an alpaca and another animal or an alpaca and a person
- Farm Scene - includes at least one alpaca
- Black and White - any subject in B& W format and must contain at least one alpaca and have artistic merit
Ribbons will be given to the top 3 choices
General Guidlines:
Entry Fee: $5.00 for ABA members, $7.00 for non ABA Members
Special Notes:
- Permission to publish photos is granted by virtue of entering this contest
- There is no time limit in regard to when the photo was taken
- Photos previously submitted to SWRAS Photo contest or used in Alpacas Magazine are NOT eligible
- 2 entries per category limitation
- Photos must be 8 x 10 and matted; No Framed pictures please
- All pictures must be received by the Photo Contest Coordinator by 31 Jan 2012>
- Please do not write on the back of the photos
- Photos will be judged on content, composition, creativity and how well they depict the category. Please note that the photo committee has the right to change the category of an entered photo
- Photos will be displayed on 18 & 19 Feb 2012 ;
- Ribbons will be awarded by the start of the banquet on Saturday evening
- You may pick up your photos on Sunday Afternoon
- Photos will be mailed if you include a self addressed and stamped envelope.
